An airport employee who saw the dog also informed the newsorganization that a TSA agent 'took wonderful care' of the dog when he was rescued.

Many individuals left comments praising the efforts of everyone who helped save the dog, with one person writing: “What a cute baby. Thank you for saving this soul."
Another person remarked, “Poor baby, I’d rescue that lovey in a second!!! Shame on that human owner, don’t ever get a pet again!!!”
“This is the best thing that could have ever happened to that baby. Now it has a chance to find a real home and to be loved,”another person commented.
A fourth person added, "Look at how adorable he is. You have to be heartless to abandon him like that. Some people suck and truly hope they file charges against whoever left him there."
To safely turn over the animal, the authorities contacted the state dog warden. The owner is anticipated to face an animal abandonment charge.
