In the 90s Pamela Anderson and rock star Tommy Lee had a very public sex tape scandal. The result of this was a legal dispute that will now be the topic of a new television series starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan.

Baywatch star Pamela Anderson and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee famously got married after knowing each other for just 96 hours. As many would expect, this set the stage for a turbulent relationship. However, one issue they faced was the stealing and subsequent distribution of their personal sex tape. This will be the focus of a new Hulu series.

Both Anderson and Lee eventually came to an agreement with distributor Internet Entertainment Group (IEG) about their honeymoon sex tape. Lee approved the distribution for profit, while Anderson sued the company. This journey will be shown in the show Pam & Tommy, which has the director of I, Tonya, Tom Gillespie working on it.

The director has proven themself in biopic features, but some are unconvinced by the casting of Lily James and Sebastian Stan as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

Evidently, some believe that the casting choices could have been different, but overall there seems to be excitement around the series created by Tom Gillespie.

It will be interesting to see if the actors can change themselves for the roles, given the divided reception. However, with a talented team throughout and eight episodes, it will surely deliver some drama for viewers to enjoy.

The series is currently in pre-production!
